NFACCA Trades Expo 2008 and Education Conference

North Florida Air Conditioning Contractors Association will host the NFACCA Trades Expo2008 & Education Conference on Wednesday, October 8th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Duval County Fairgrounds Expo Center in Downtown Jacksonville.

More than 1,000 Decision Makers and End-Users involved with Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Electrical, Gas and Utilities for both Commercial and Residential Projects are expected to attend NFACCA Trades Expo2008.

Gate Petroleum Company, an Expo2008 Industry Partner Sponsor joins fellow Exhibitors including JEA Jacksonville Electric Authority, Johnstone Supplies, Term-Lok Manufacturing, Proforma, Cintas Corporation, North Florida HVAC Supply, as well as insurance providers, vehicle leasing, legal service providers and other suppliers. Trades Expo2008 is the Showcase directed at their target audiences. Expo2008 is designed for Exhibitors to develop business partnerships and customers. Exhibitors receive the best possible return on investment; Booth Space at Expo2008 is always limited.

Continuing Education Seminars are directed to current and economic needs of the HVACR technicians and contractors. Space for the Seminars is also limited, encouraging attendees to register early.

Since 1969, NFACCA and their Industry Partners have dedicated their efforts to establishing Standards and Licensing for their industries. NFACCA worked to enact Installers Licenses, Natural Gas Specialty Licenses, and the Unified Florida Building Codes. NFACCA established scholarship funds for industry apprentice programs and strongly supports Continuing Education Programs for HVACR Technicians. In keeping with NFACCA philosophy of Action and Education, Trades Expo2008 & Education Conference brings the HVACR Industry and their Partners together to achieve their Industry Objective: Exceeding Expectations through Service, Quality and Safety.

FRACCA Chapter Meetings

The Florida Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association (FRACCA) is proud of the work that the local association chapters have accomplished throughout the year. As FRACCA continues its “You Have a Choice” campaign in 2008, we invite all HVACR contractors to join one of our regular chapter meetings in your area and to become a member of FRACCA.

Gainesville: The Gainesville Air Conditioning Contractors Association (GACCA) meets every 3rd Wednesday at 4:00 PM at the Builders Association of North Florida. For more information or to register contact Tom Worthmann at 352-376-2366.

Jacksonville: The North Florida Air Conditioning Contractors Association (NFACCA) meets every 3rd Tuesday at 11:30 AM at the Ramada Inn Mandarin at the corner of I-295 and San Jose Blvd. NFACCA is offering contractor CEUs at many of their upcoming meetings. Tampa / St. Pete / Clearwater: The Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association of Tampa Bay (RACCA) has varying meeting locations and times, often offering contractor CEUs, including the new Advanced Code course. Sarasota: The Manasota Air Conditioning Contractors Association (MACCA) meets every 1st Thursday at 6:30 PM at the Holiday Inn Lakewood Ranch. Ft. Myers: The Tri-County Sub Contractors Association (TCSCA) meets every 2nd Tuesday at 6:00 PM at The Helm Club at the Landings. TCSCA also has an apprenticeship program through the Tri-County Apprenticeship Academy (TCAA).
